When is the best time to visit Poland?
Quick answer
Late spring (May) and early autumn (September) are ideal: warm days, fewer crowds and lower prices. July and August are warmest but busiest, while December brings Christmas markets and snow in the mountains.
May and September are the sweet spots: warm enough for long days outside, but before and after the summer crowds and peak prices. That said, each season has its own appeal, so the best time depends on what you want from the trip.
