ViewPoland

An independent guide to Poland.

About ViewPoland

ViewPoland is an independent, English-language guide to travelling in Poland. We cover the cities worth your time, the sights that earn the trip, where to eat, where to stay, and how to move between it all. One country, covered properly.

Why we built it

Poland is one of Europe's best-value destinations and one of its least understood. English-language coverage tends to stop at Krakow's main square and a single day trip. We wanted the guide we could not find: deep on every city, honest about what is worth it, and useful the moment you land.

How we research and write

Every page is written to answer the real questions a traveller has: what a place is, why it is worth going, how long to spend, how to get there, and what is nearby. We check facts against reliable and official sources, and we leave out anything we cannot stand behind. We do not publish invented reviews, ratings or statistics, and we do not pad pages to look longer. Where wording matters, it is edited to one consistent standard across the site.

Accuracy and corrections

Details like opening hours, ticket prices and timetables change often, so for those we point you to the official source rather than risk a stale number. We revisit and update pages as things change, and we would always rather say less than say something we cannot verify. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it; reader corrections are one of the ways the guide stays accurate.

Independent and reader-first

ViewPoland is independent. We recommend places on merit, not because anyone paid to appear, and nothing on the site is a paid placement dressed up as advice. Our only job is to help you plan a better trip to Poland.

What you'll find

Full city guides for the main destinations, from Krakow, Warsaw and Gdansk to Wroclaw, Poznan, Torun, Lublin, Zakopane and more than a dozen cities in all, each backed by the attractions, restaurants and hotels that matter. Region overviews tie those cities into the wider country, and practical guides cover getting around, when to visit, the food, and the day trips worth making. The guide grows steadily, city by city.
