History of the Fara church

Kazimierz Dolny's parish church, known locally as the Fara, was founded in 1325 under Casimir III the Great. After a fire it was rebuilt between 1610 and 1613 by Jakub Balin, a Lublin architect of Italian origin, which gives it the Gothic-and-Renaissance character seen today.
