The Best Coffee in Poland
Poland's speciality coffee scene has grown fast, with small roasters and third-wave bars now fixtures in every big city. Krakow's Karma Coffee roasts its own beans, Warsaw's Relaks was an early third-wave pioneer, and STOR runs several speciality bars across the capital. Wroclaw's Etno Cafe roasts and pours across the city, and Torun's Kaffeina serves a proper cup near the market square.

Poland has a strong speciality coffee scene, and the best cafes roast their own beans and pour a flat white to match anywhere in Europe. We chose independent roasters and cafes across the main cities, the places locals actually queue for rather than the chains.
Where the good coffee is
Krakow and Warsaw lead, with roasteries and small bars turning out careful espresso and filter, and Karma is one of Krakow's long-standing favourites. Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Torun each have their own speciality spots, often in restored old-town or industrial buildings that double as places to work or linger.
What to order
